Even though we were All Inclusive at a resort, we still spent the $12 taxi ride just to go to Maro's. It's a thing. Same people, same menu, same plastic chairs and college sports team banners, too hot and gaudy. We LOVE it. It's like a cult or something, and we can't stay away. Maybe it's that they remember you (I'd like to think it's true, so let me!). Hugs all around. Everyone in the place is like in a secret club that we all know about. Strangers are immediately friends. We shared what we bought, shared drinks .. total strangers. Maybe it's that for under $20 you can get two lobster tails and 6 jumbo shrimp. Are you serious? And so sweet, fresh and perfectly prepared. Maybe it's the Bulldogs, (lemonade, tequila and beer) for $4.50, that come with a bit of a show that will make you blush, or order another round in our case. We had 2 rounds, and they gave us the third round for free. That's the other thing. When you come back year after year, they keep throwing free dessert, another round of bull dogs. It's like you are related. Really. We first found Maro's because some crazy American lady eating there ran out of the restaurant and grabbed us. My wife does that now. Just go. Great food, great prices, great fun. Join the cult.

We love Maro's and Maro himself is super sweet! We were worried because someone in our party has a sever shellfish allergy (I thought he was crazy for wanting to try this place knowing that!) But Maro made sure that no shellfish was cooked near his food. It was amazing! I had what I usually get two lobsters and shrimp for $16.99 (not a better deal in Cabo) and my husband had the lobster and steak. Everyone loved the food and we love all of the college sports stuff all around the restaurant. We have to remember to bring something with us to leave on our next visit. Do not miss this place it is wonderful food and great prices!

We found Maro's on trip advisor 3 years ago and fell in love with the staff and food. We have finally made it back and we were not disappointed. We booked an all-inclusive resort but we still came here twice during our week's stay because of how good this place is. We always get input from the staff on the best things to eat and they get us the most delicious food they have to offer.
The bulldogs are awesomet and Sanders is the master of the bulldog dance. You must try at least one of these margarita/corona combos if you go.
If you are looking for great food in a fun, casual environment then you must try Maro's. We only hope it is not another 3 years until we get back!

Recommended by a fellow hotel guest, we were not disappointed. We were sold on the price, but the food, service, and ambiance brought us back for a second dinner in one week. Ignacio, our waiter was funny, friendly and made every accommodation for us. The only disappointment was that there was no Indiana university flag! Don't worry, we will bring one with us next year! A must while in cabo if you are looking for lobster, tortillas and warm garlic butter!
