Some Mexican friends of ours from La Paz who live part time in Cabo recommended La Guadalupana to us to experience authentic Mexican cooking. Wow! Were they ever right. The tortilla soup was excellent. The pork shank steamed in banana leaves literally fell off the bone. The chicken enchiladas verde were mouth watering and the meatballs we can't say enough about. They are made with pork and beef and have a whole hard boiled egg in the middle (big meatballs). Needless to say we had food to take home.
The handmade margaritas were very good and we stayed and drank far too many. Played a few games of dominoes with our waiter before we left. Apparently they have Pozole on Friday nights and play dominoes very late into the night. Will have to try that on a Friday.
