We had a wonderful meal here, but go early, they close at 7. I had coconut shrimp and it was so good - I can't wait to go back and have it again. I found it easy to get to, had good parking, was very clean and had a great staff.

I was looking for a good seafood place and a TA person gave me this place to try. It was the best octopus I ever had!!! The other people with me were delighted with their choices as well. And the prices were great too. Im in Cabo every year the first week in Feb and I will most certainly come back to this Great place.

We were greeted warmly as soon as we came to the restaurant. It is an open-aired restarant with no A/C, so one of the waiters suggested and alternate table for us under the ceiling fan where it would be cooler. Since we were the only "gringos" in the restaurant, we sensed that this must be a place were the locals eat, as it is a little bit off the beaten path, several blocks north of the main tourist strip. The menu was extensive, so it took a while to figure out what to eat. We ordered quite a few different seafood items (such as octopus taco, crab torta, and scallop taco). The food was good, though nothing extraordinary. It was plain fresh seafood with little to no embellishment; the items were average sized, so we left full but not overly so (with no leftovers). They served a small bag of tortilla chips (not homemade as with many of the other restaurants) to accompany the 7 or 8 types of bottled hot sauces they had on the table. The prices were moderate (around $2.50 to $5 per item, a la carte). For a mid-sized lunch with sodas and tip, it was around $20 to $25. Not a great bargain but also doesn't break the bank, especially for seafood. For a slightly less expensive seafood of equal quality (though fewer selections), the nearby Sleepless Lobster (Crazy Lobster) might be a better bet.

Owners Luis & Raul will welcome you to Mariscos a short walk from the center of Cabo San Lucas (near Comfort Inn). If you are looking for authentic, delicious inexpensive mexican food away from the usual tourist locations check it out. You will not be disappointed! Please note cash only as of June 2008.
