“Delicious, fresh daily catches amidst locals”

The staff are very helpful and friendly, but the food was to die for! The octopus dish was delicious- so tender and yummy! The fish tacos melted in our mouths. I would eat every meal here.

“Delish Little Dive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2013

This place is great....fresh fish, HOT HOT salsa--but the heat came and went really quick. Fantastic and friendly service. It is clear that it is a locals favorite as there was about a 50-50 mix of tourists and locals. It is a small place, easily missed--only has about 10-12 tables. loved the garlic scallops and the hubby loved the octopus! Definitely Would Go back

“Sea Food with home flavor!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2013

Located few blocks away from La Marina, is a typical place usually visited by local people and tourists, nothing elegant. They offer a wide variety of fresh sea food prepared in different ways with an excellent flavor. You can find any kind of drinks, from sodas to cocktails. The relation quality Price is very good. You can enjoy a good meal at a cheap price.

“Lively, fun atmosphere, great seafood.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2013

As the name suggests, seafood is what you'll find here. Raw bar is awesome, and reasonably priced. The usual American conventions don't apply, so be warned. For instance:

The oysters were freshly shucked but not as icy-cold as you get at home. The accompaniments -- limes, mignonette, shallot vinegar -- were on the money though; and the bivalves themselves were fat, briny and tasty (although lacking the iodine undertone of northern oysters).

Clams are HUGE -- way bigger than quahogs. The shucker chops them up before returning them to the shell. Again, not icy-cold. But super-tasty and strongly flavoured though chewy, as bigger clams tend to be.

We ordered way too much -- the menu makes items sound smaller than they are! The fried oysters were amazing; so were the stuffed clams -- and enormous portions. The garlic crab is messy to eat, and took some work to get at the meat, but it was worth it.

Atmosphere is super-casual as befits a seafood joint, and everyone there seems to be having a ball. Staff included. So will you!
