The food is not bad, nothing special. Service is not bad. But not sure if worth paying so much money to whatever we get. Hope they will serve sushi with brown rice, for health conscious people.

Service here is top-notch. From the amazing expanding wet-naps they "serve" you to the absolutely delicious dishes prepared for you, the place doesn't miss. The staff dote over the dishes they make and the customer who eat them. I don't quite remember the managers name, but he was on point for entire visit. Again, service is tantamount here. Simply put, I've never tasted better sushi. Ever.

The two of us dined at Nick-san for the first time September 25th and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The service, the food, the attention---all top notch! Our waiter suggested a variety of different items from the extensive menu: "If you don't like it---we won't put it on the bill." And suggested using half-orders of several items, so as to accommodate a broader range of experimentation. He started us with a wonderful "Futame Age": little crisp nest of fried shredded seaweed filled with scallop and crab. The Shashimi Cilantro is a definite "must try"; the Tuna Tostadas equally fine. We also very much enjoyed the Soyu roll: crisp calamari, rice, avocado in soy paper wrap---but a better item to share among four people rather than just two, if you want to leave room for trying other dishes. We did not like as much the chile pepper stuffed with crab and fried in a tempura batter---just a bit to heavy compared to everything else---and as a result, it did not show up on the bill, just as promised! And when we wanted just one more dish to finish the evening, we were guided to the yellowtail sashimi, which was fabulous.
At least one publication says that this is the best restaurant in Cabo: they may be right!

I recently went with my husband on our honeymoon. The food was good but nothing to write home about. The service was very good. I don't like shellfish so had a really tough time finding anything without crab in it. I'm glad we tried it but am not going to come back for anything specific. They played country music the whole meal and it was definitely more expensive than we thought it'd be.

We love sushi and have eaten at Nobu and other very fine sushi places across the U.S. Niksan is fantastic!! The atmosphere could be a little more "hip" maybe play good music like a Vegas lounge...... Service is excellent, sushi is fresh!
