Sushi was excellent as was the tempura. Also a hit was the Soft Crab Roll (on the menu as Clear Lobster Roll with soft crab as an option).

Went here last night for dinner. We arrived a bit early for our 730 reservation and talked with the very nice bartender. Dinner was very good. Only recommendation is to eat after 730 as the place is essentially empty until then. But at 730 the place filled up very quickly. The air conditioning was also a huge plus on a hot day with few air conditioned restaurants around.

Went to Nick-San during a 4 day trip to Cabo. The interior of the restaurant could use a renovation, it's a bit worn out. The food was good, not great. Our party of five concentrated on the various sashimi concoctions. The quality of the fish was quite good, but most of the sashimi was swimming in a pool of oily marinade. I'm a bit of a sushi snob and this restaurant wouldn't crack my top ten.

My wife and I were at this restaurant on June 22 for dinner. When we ordered dinner and explained that we were to share everything the waiter offered to bring us half orders so we could try more different dishes. We picked the first two and after that we had the waiter suggestions until we could not eat anything more. Tuna tostadas, lobster roll, yiosas with shrimp and scallops,
and more kept coming in each one with a different and original sauce. We did not have any of the
traditional japanese foods like sushi, tempura or yakimeshi. And if you go to this restaurant - and you should - you are better of trying what the waiter suggest. He claimed that in addittion to what is in the menú they have something like 30 addittional dishes available. It was an extraordinary experience with excellent food out of ordinary. If the place is busy, you will not be able to get this treatment, but you should try. You will not be dissapointed.

Most unique high quality Sushi Bar in the Hemisphere. Extremely fresh fish, inventive serving options, wine selection average size but good quality, mixed drinks are generous, wait staff is good. We go there every time we are in Cabo.
