The top end restaurant is actually more reasonable in any ways than the casual La Palapa. The view is stunning. Sit outside by overlooking the sea. We were there on a windy and cooler night so panchos and heaters were provided. The fixed price menu is $68 for three courses and $72for four. The selections and presentations are outstanding. The fish is especially well prepared. Esperanza has a high end wine list (so high you might think it is in pesos) but we took our own. We were told that the corkage fee was $20 and were charged $25 by a mildly displeased waiter but it is their rule. Generally great service (but for that beginning), superb food and unbeatable ambience and views. A stunning evening. Not cheap but not overpriced at $550 all in for dinner for four including three bottles of wine, two of which we took.
