“Make a reservation”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

We love this restaurant but have't made it there in the last couple of years because we didn't think ahead. This year we had a party of seven & made sure we had a reservation! Everyone loved their meal. The special was braised short ribs & they were so tender they could be cut with a fork. We always split a meal here due to the portion size but forgot so we had too much food. Pasta dish was yummy but a little too much raw garlic for my tummy. Great Sevice - we'll be back

“Mmm, Salvatore's again!”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

i reviewed Salvatore's last year, loved it, and will repeat my feelings again this year: great food, excellent service, fun casual atmosphere make Salvatore's a place that you must go to. Every year when we go to Cabo, we designate a particular night "Salvatore's" and make reservations.
During the season reservations are really necessary if you want to eat at a certain time, the restaurant is usually full because everyone knows the food is great.

“Finally got in to Salvatore's!”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

This will be added as another one of our favorite Cabo Italian restaurants (There are many in Cabo). For the last few years we couldn't even find it and when we did it was always packed. This year we finally got in and found it well worth the wait. Good food and not all the usual fare (porkeeta was great). The restaurant is very small, even by Cabo standards, so you will probably have to wait..Do. It's worth it..

“Forgetaboutit”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

We heard so much about this restaurant with rave reviews that we canceled other reservations so we could eat at this establishment. This place is a joke. How anyone in their right mind would consider this "good" Italian food has never had the opportunity to have good Italian food.
The spinach salad was served with so much vinegar that you could not taste anything else other than the acid from the vinegar, not even the gorgonzola cheese that was on it. I think it removed a layer of skin off my bottom lip!
My husband ordered the Porketta, I ordered the Grilled Fish with artichokes, onions, in a white wine sauce, while our friends ordered the lasagna and another pasta dish with a side of meatballs.
When the meatballs came to the table the overwhelming scent from the oregano alone should have made us get up and leave.
Actually, we should have left after the salad!
The Lasagna was not good. The pasta was overcooked and the sauce was way too sweet.
My dish didn't even resemble anything that looked like grilled fish. It was a giant mess of a dish with what looked like a piece of boiled fish thrown on top of overcooked spaghetti. The wine/lemon sauce had a nice aroma. But just looking at the dish made my stomach feel upset.
The porketta was ok, and I mean just ok. We all looked at each other, didn't eat, paid the bill and left.
If anyone ever suggests good Italian in Cabo and they mention this place you should run as fast as you can in the other direction.
The best part about the restaurant was leaving it. Bye Bye Salvatore's!

“Best meal in Cabo so far”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

Its day 10 and by far the best meal yet. There were 4 of us, we started with Bruschetta, my wife had Momma's gravy, I had pasta and clams, our friends had the lasagna and prosciutto ravioli. Good wine list. We tried each others and they were all excellent. We shared a tiramisu which was enough for the 4 of us. We will be going back once more for sure. We had 2 nice bottles of wine ($50 ea) and the bill was only. $200 with tip. Make a reservation you won't be disappointed
