Caught the bus from Great Yarmouth only to find the boat trips were not running. Still not a wasted trip as it is beautiful so sat and ate my lunch gazing out over the broads. You can do a little walking but not a lot.

It was quiet the day we were here, Colin the boat skipper was telling us about their launch 'Gentleman Jim'. We decided to take a trip around the local broad (only about 30 minutes). The boat is very quiet and you feel you're gliding across the water. We saw lots of wildlife, and Colin pointed out all the types of water foul. In all a nice peaceful couple of hours. When we came off the boat we had a drink in their café.

We went along on a Saturday and were able to go on the boat tour straight away. They provided life jackets for our 2 youngest and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. He explained how the broads were made, where the water is used and what wildlife was around. We were lucky to chose a beautiful day weather-wise so there was so much to see! Our daughter loved the colourful dragonflies and all the babies (ducklings, cygnets and coots). It's very reasonably priced too. We'll definitely go back soon!

Had coffee at the restaurant and came back the next day for the boat trip. It was a cold and dull day and we were the only people on the trip which was a touch of luck!

The coxn was great and knew the area well (what a lovely job!) so gave us information on the trip and knew all the water birds. The boat is very peaceful being electric. It was a lovely escape from traffic and noise. Highly recommended.

We have been here before and will come again. The Waterside Resturant has excellent food, excellent service, super views over the water. Decided to take a trip on ‘Gentleman Jim’ this time, super little boat.. Well worth the small cost. Skipper Terry was brilliant, what a lovely chap. He is a wealth of knowledge on the Broad and its surrounding area, pointing out flora, fauna and the birdlife. The pair of Grebe’s and their young feeding was a unique and unusual delight to see. It was a very peaceful and enjoyable experience. There is also convienient disabled parking.

This is a great tour of part of the broads and the guide who takes you around is very knowledgeable and friendly. My elderly mother who walks with a stick was worried about getting on but the chap was really kind and helpful and made her feel at ease.
It's only a little tour but for the price it's excellent value

Even though it rained and had thunder and lightning ⛈. It was very enjoyable and my wife and I were entertained by some very young children who were also on the boat ride. The skipper of the boat kept us informed on the birds and the construction of the roads.
