Nothing fancy, quite an extensive menu. Large portions. Hot, well cooked served by friendly staff. Low cost, nearly missed the entrance as set back from road

“Cosy & quiet :)”
Reviewed October 18, 2013 via mobile

Went here with my boyfriend for a random dinner date. We stumbled on this place and thought wed give it a try. The menu was a little limited, it was steak pizza or fish. Or a chicken speciality. The food was lovely and hot! The chicken special was good but amazing bit i enjoyed it. Gonna.be back soon!!

“Carvery”
Reviewed September 29, 2013

A Sunday Carvery, cold plates, cold meat, the cook brought out a cooked Turkey from the warming cabinet and it was still cold, three veg only the carrots were recognisable we had to ask what the one veg was, it was mashed Swede, it must have been Devon Swede because we have never seen Swede that colour before. The only good thing was the Yorkshire pudding and that was cold. The manager did offer us another meal but we opted for our money back instead and went elsewhere where we enjoyed a hot Sunday lunch with a choice of more veg and at a cheaper price. So we wont be back.

“Shut this place down”
Reviewed September 7, 2013

This place should be shut down and serves the worst food that I have ever tasted. I had under cooked chicken floating in garlic butter (as was the salad) covered in ham, a ring over pineapple covered in cheese with half a jar of cranberry sauce slopped on top. Awful and now waiting for it to come back up The place needs a good clean as well. Drive on by if you care for your health.
