The zodiac was the best way to get the best pics. John the captain was very knowledgeable of the area ,whales, birds, seals and also the history.Very friendly staff at the office. Got great scenery pics of the coast. Would highly recommend LIMBO COVE for whale sightings, eagles, seals, other birds and scenery. Thanks very much to John &staff had a blast. from the Ryans

“Dolphins made our day”
Reviewed August 25, 2012 via mobile

We went 9.30 in August. I thought afterwards the first ride can be risky as no info available on where the whales are. We saw nothing, were told nothing, not a single word. In the end a radio message came and off we rided to a pod of dolphines who made our day. The ride back in a hurry was .. violent but I enjoyed it a lot.

“Whales, whales, whales”
Reviewed August 23, 2012 via mobile

What a great trip. We came across a pod of pilot whales very quickly and followed them for a good 45 minutes. We followed the shore home in search of seals and bald eagles. This was as nice as the whale watching. Provided us with a dry bag for our camera and had plenty of rain gear. Lucky for us we had sunshine.

“You Need To Do This !!”

We are a large family who has gone out with Captain John David twice in the last 2 summers. This is always a summer highlight for our girls ages 8 to 20. They absolutely love the zodiac and the amazing scenery along the coastline that you must see from a boat. We have seen seals and an eagle both times and each time saw many pilot whales as well. With the zodiac, you are able to go super fast and quite close to the whales. The girls love the zodiac so much that the whale sightings are the cherry on the top of what is already a fantastic experience. Captain John is very knowledgeable, funny and professional and our family always enjoys going out with him. This is well worth your money and a definite must for anyone in Pleasant Bay area. By the way, Pleasant Bay is a gorgeous relaxing fishing village which is well worth a stay. We spent 3 days here last summer and this summer we used it as a home base for the trail. Come, stay and see the whales with Limbo Cove. You will love it as our girls do.

“Just Wow!”
Reviewed August 11, 2012

We had an awesome time whale watching. The water was a bit rough the day we went but we were able to get close to several pilot and fin whales. The folks at Limbo Cove were friendly and we felt safe in the zodiac boat. An truly amazing experience.
