I stayed here one night, Jan 5th, on my way back from San San Jose del Cabo. I paid $50.I was low on cash, and they took credit cards which was great since there is no bank or ATM in San Ignacio, only a Western Union.
I think there was about 12 rooms, and a new addition is being built. The hotel is just off the highway on a side road, follow the sign. The building is about 50 feet below road grade, so the noise from the road wasn't bad at all. The room was clean and very plain. I had hot water for my morning shower for about 3 minutes, after that is was gone. My wife took a cold shower, and the folks next to us said they had no hot water either. The bed was firm but comfortable, with the usual flat pillows that seem to be everywhere in Mexico.
We ate dinner (bunch of tacos), and breakfast at the hotel restaurant (I had huevos rancheros). The food was very good. My kids loved the tacos, rice and beans. Everything was tasty, and lacked the excess grease you get in a lot of places.
I recommend this hotel to anyone needing a quick overnight stay in a relatively inexpensive clean room, nothing fancy. The hotel is a pitstop on the Baja 1000 race also.
