I had dinner at this restaurant one night in January. The place wasn't packed, but there was a group of some 10 backpackers and a few other customers at the same time. It took about an hour before the food I ordered arrived. The backpackers seemed to be served their meals one by one, which made for a somewhat comical coming and going of people at that table.
I had the fish stew, which was decent but not great. The fish itself was well cooked but didn't have much of a taste. The stew contained a decent balance of spices (though a tad high on lemongrass) and some vegetables. It was more flavourful than, say, a bowl of pho, but nothing out of the ordinary. I didn't consider it worth the 25,000 kip it cost, especially since there was a fantastic Indian restaurant just next door with lower prices.
