“Lovely Beach and restaurant”
Reviewed January 5, 2012

It can be windy here so if you want to sit outside check that out. The inside of the restaurant is elegant but casual; its San Carlos after all! The price point is higher than the other places in town but the atmosphere food are worth it.

“Great place for a variety of moods!”
Reviewed July 10, 2011

This place is right next to the Soggy Peso, but with no signs on the street to point you to it. It was recommeneded by some people we met while scuba diving. It has an air-conditioned section, an elegant inside section, a patio section, a sand gazebo section and even cater to the beach out in front of the place. It is right on the end of the cove, so it has a quaint setting for any mood. Also makes the views spectacular! Menu has many selections and it was a GREAT meal! We went on a Thursday and a 2-man band was setting up. Smooth music to add to the ambiance. GREAT beach for day time and nice hangout for evening time. Check it out!

Reviewed March 31, 2011

wonderful menu The food and presentation were incredible,.the restaurant and view were fabulous, the owner thought that our food took a little too long to be served so we were given a free round of drinks. If you are visiting San Carlos this is a place you must visit. we will be going back .

“Fabulous Upscale Beachfront”
Reviewed March 19, 2011

I was amazed to find such a fine restaurant at the end of the San Carlos road. It is isolated, though the Soggy Peso bar is next door. (Also, don't be like me and get stuck in the sand.) But when you find it - and you should - you'll get wonderful oceanfront views. The interior is well done, too, with upscale furnishings.
Of course, the most important part is the food, which was fantastic. I had the pork plate you see. The meat wasn't dry, like a lot of pork. The potatoes had flavor. The garlic bread had actual garlic. And they had Fanta (and a full bar stuff I didn't try). By US or European standards, the price was great. My meal plus Fanta was 200 pesos, about $17. I'd pay $25-30 for the equivalent in Louisville, and be glad I did. It's not a place for kids, but grown-ups should go for dinner if they can. It was the best place I found in San Carlos.

“Unbelievable!!!”
Reviewed September 25, 2010

Wow what a great new restaurant for San Carlos. We ate there three times during our one week stay. The Service, food and atmosphere were incredible. The View!!!!! They also had an option of eating inside with air-conditioning which we did on our last visit because we were just hot.
