It s a quite interesting little place. I have to say, the house is very nice. Only 4 tables, Yves, the maitre de cuisine is doing a great job. Every course was good, served hot and timely. He really tries hard.
The coq au vin is divine. Don't compared it to rosewood. One of a kind. My friends an us are wishing Yves great success

We have had dinner at Yves place numerous times including a birthday dinner for my wife where all nine of us could not say enough about the great food, from the wonderful grilled asparagus and Moules a la mariniere to start to the always great Onion soup and the Ratatouille Nicoise which is some of the best I have ever eaten. On to the Coq au vin and the Boeuf Bourguignon real french comfort food I have had both the Mosse au chocolat and the Crepes Suzette which are always delicious.
Yves is a terrific chef and host who always keeps us entertained.

Shortly before we left San Miguel for the season we heard about Le Couchon. It is a small courtyard restaurant (8 people) that you must make reservations for. It was amazing! The food was wonderful and the chef witty and entertaining. We were so impressed that we hired the chef to make dinner at my home for a party of 16. No one was disappointed! Love this place and can not wait to return!

We were happy to hear we could get French food in San Miguel, either ordering it to be delivered---or now in the tiny restaurant in Colonia San Antonio. And we were even happier when we tried out the food: It arrived at our house steaming hot and it was delectable! One of our favorites is the coq au vin with falling-off-the bone tender chicken, but we have also enjoyed the boeuf bourguignon (yummy sauce) and the cochon à la bière, a pork stew. Another favorite is the roast chicken stuffed with rosemary, shallots and mushrooms. It is unbelievably flavorful! All entrées arrive steaming hot, with an aroma so tempting we usually can't resist digging in right away, but the dishes can also be reheated later and enjoyed. Yves, the chef/owner takes justifiable pride in his cooking and his love of hearty flavors shows in every bite. When we visited the restaurant (set on a small patio with minimal seating; call ahead) we sampled a wonderful beef with onion dish and a tasty ratatouille, which we enjoyed with a glass of house red wine. We've been delighted with the food and it has become our go-to home delivery meal. Vive la France in SMA!

Quite expensive for the small servings: the Quiche was awful. Perhaps the worst I have ever tasted, and I'm French/German. I did like the tiny Caribbean Porc serving, but the 2 women said they thought the place a complete joke and would never return even 'tho I paid the cuenta!
