“Would love to go back to this beautiful place!”

Las Terrazas was such a beautiful place with every convenience necessary for a grat time. There was puerified water throughout which was wonderful. Each casita has a full kitchen along with comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms and a living room. The outdoor patio for each Casita was a real bonus

The service was great and the breakfast choices were so inviting. I would love to go back the next times we are in San Miguel

I found SMA completely by accident but it was TripAdvisor's impressive reviews that brought me to Las Terrazas. Greg had the Mariposa available and it was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment Melissa and I strolled down the hill to the last dinner we had it was nothing less than perfect. We never left the city, we slept in everyday, Kathy took great care of us and Matti's smile was like an angel. The views from the terrace were amazing, the interior art collection was extensive, and the accomadations left nothing, and I mean nothing to be desired. Every detail was thought of, and meticuluously cared for. Guys if you are serious about a beautiful destination to take your bride where you'll be treated like you are at the Ritz, SMA and Laz Terrazas will exceed all expectations.

It had been two long years since we had been guests at Las Terrazas. I don't know how it could get better but it did. This time I brought my daughter-in-law and two grandaughters. Sophie 12, Gwen 8. They just adored the accomodations and the attention from Kathi the "house mother".They enjoyed Kathi's two beautiful well trained dogs. Kathi custom ordered their breakfast menu, and brought down DVDs geared at young audiences.

We stayed in Casa Grillo the two bedroom unit. It had a full kitchen,2BRs, 2 baths a reception hallway, and living/dining room. Two patios and outside hanging gardens with gurgling fountains. We were greeted with fresh flowers, cold wine, and milk in the refridgerator. The decor was a tasteful blend of Mexican and contemporary. And most important to me the bedding was deliciously luxurios and comfortable. The lighting was particularily skillful. This all broke down to $40 per person a night. I defy you to find a better value in all of San Miguel.

We felt safe and welcome at all times.
Gratefully,Grammy Rumba .

The location was great--the B &B was just beautiful. They can't do enough for you. I would highly recommend any to stay there. We just loved it.

This is our second stay at Las Terrazas. The first two years ago. We had such fond memories of that trip and talked about it so much, another couple wanted to join us on this one. It is more magical than we remembered. Our friends were not disappointed. The beautiful gardens, the tastefully decorated casitas, the yummy breakfast each morning -- what's not to like? Kathi, the resident manager, could not have been more helpful. She arranged transportation to and from Leon airport, which included a day's tour of nearby Dolores Hidalgo, Santa Rosa pottery factory, and Guanajuato. The owners are veterans in the hospitality business and it shows. I’m sure that’s why there are so many repeat visitors, like us.

We spent a wonderful week at Las Terrazas in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico last week. Las Terrazas is a goregous property, four separate casas tucked into a hillside up above San Miguel. Wonderful full breakfasts, great staff, our own patio that overlooked the town. Each casa (home) comes with a complete kitchen in and when you want to cook. The owners of this property have created a wonderful oasis behind the doors............plush cotton robes, tastefully decorated rooms, TV, free Wi-Fi, DVDs from their private collection to use and a very knowledgable and gracious staff to help you plan your time.

We felt San Miguel to be very safe and easy to navigate. The weather was beautiful, 80s during the day and 55 in the evenings. We had some great meals, don't forget to try IBERICA, a Spanish tapas place and also CAFE RAMA near the Instituto!

Due to inclement and canceled flights in TX ,my plane was 8 hours late arriving in Leon.
Even though I arrived after midnight, the staff made sure I was met at the airport and delivered to Las Terrasas safely. Upon arrival, there was a delicious meal and an assortment of beverages waiting for me. The casita, Colibri, was comfortable, well appointed with a full kitchen and a beautiful panoramic view of San Miguel de Allende from the adjoining, private balcony. There is a swimming pool and fitness center adjacent to but not owned by Las Terrasas available for a nominal fee. I stayed for 10 days and highly recommend Las Terrasas to those traveling to San Miguel de Allende.
