Charming colonial hotel 1/2 block from El Jardin . Central location is great, convenient to return and rest between walking sight seeing jaunts. Very clean, pleasant front desk staff. We were there during the week so noise was not an issue. Church bells rang at 6:30 am but added to the charm. Room 112 was large, well decorated with large windows to let in the cool night air, great shower and cell signal. Restaurant was very good evening meal and breakfast in the cafe was good as well. For us it was a great place to stay with the Mexican old world charm that we were looking for, if you want the experience of the Hilton, go stay in a more modern option.

Our stay here was exceptional. The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly even though we do not speak Spanish. The location is right across from the main church so there is a little noise, but that is reasonable for the central location that allows easy access to the main city. There is also a restaurant downstairs (which is delicious),but during the week it is not open late. The central garden which is also near the hotel does have activity later into the night, but if you are here for vacation it is fun to be so close to the action.
The church bells did not ring until around 6:30am and then stopped until later into the day so even if you did not want to get up that early and were awakened you could easily go back to sleep for several more hours.
The room was warm but if you close the curtains during the day and open the windows and turn on the fan at night it is quite comfortable.
If you must have air conditioning or go to bed at 9pm, don’t stay here. But if you are open to relaxing and experiencing the culture this is a beautiful little place.

The hotel is in a noisy street and has a noisy courtyard restaurant! Avoid!!! They gave us a streetside room in the first floor. Impossible to sleep with life music madness across the street. Management and staff not helpful at all. One of my worst experiences ever.

Room tip: As far away from the street as possible.

Large group, reserved months before. Horrible experience, noisy terrible service. Reception a mess. Not worse the price even if location es good. Never stay here, the noise doesn't let you sleep. We asked for the manager at check out and it turns out the person is worst than you could think. No criteria and one of the worst attitudes I've seen. Please never stay here.

Perfect location and a beautiful property, steps from El Jardin. Our room was beyond charming and spotless with a comfortable king bed and the staff was very friendly. The view was spectacular. The restaurant excellent and the place where we got our breakfast was delicious. The only downside was LOUD music from a nearby club well into the wee hours. I know that's now the hotel's fault, but it was hard to sleep. Without the noise, this would be a 5 rating.

Room tip: We had room facing West and had a great view, but the noise from a nearby club on that side was not good.
