“Very Good with a Varied menu”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2012

Thank goodness for this place. It was close to where we were staying. We were tired and just wanted something to eat. What a surprise? A very varied menu with a delightful edge. Staff was excellent. We had a tomato basil soup, salad nicose, tempura shrimp and tempura veggies. Delightful!

“Rude and deceptive wait service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 3, 2012

We found the food to be good, but the service ruined our visit. We asked for a quiet table and were shown to a room with quiet tables for two or four. Within 5 minutes the tables were rearranged for a group of nine that took over with noise and running around taking pictures. When we asked to be moved we were told that the empty tables on the next room were all reserved, and though they were not filled during our meal, we were forced to wait 10 minutes for a less desirable location outside. Then although the sign at the door said that credit cards were accepted, we were told they were not after the meal. We believe they were taking advantage of the fact that we were obviously tourists. Based on the rude staff, we do not recommend it.

“Splendid Restaurant!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 6, 2012

This is our go-to restaurant with friends, visitors, for any occasion. The food and service are excellent, the location, historic. As stated in another review, the Onion Soup is delicious, as are the generous salads, asian fusion and meats from the grill.. The prices are reasonable, and the vibe conveys genuine hospitality. This is an unpretentious, well appointed delight.

The name "Food Factory" references it's location, corner offices accessed by the veranda of La Aurora, a century old textile mill beautifully transformed in the 21st century into a haven for galleries specializing in fine art, antiques, jewelry, folk art, as well as working artists' studios.
