It is not a great place to eat but it isn't terrible. The service is nice, and even thought there is a lot of variety of food none of their dishes have that special taste you are looking for when you go to San Miguel and try to experience the culture and the typical Mexican food.

The atmosphere was fine and the food was average. We ate guacamole, 2 types of taco's, steak and pork, but were fine. Had a few margarita's and called it a day. It's not the type of place you should order a steak or seafood. If you go stick to the basic mexican food and you'll enjoy yourself. Otherwise you'll be disappointed....

I'll start with the positive, it is non-smoking. Unfortunately, that is all that I can think of that is positive.
Filet mignon with bacon and mushroom sauce. Did you know that Campbells mushroom soup can now be called mushroom sauce? At least that is what it looked and tasted like. Two dime size pieces of mushroom in a lukewarm base of something beige with flour added, poured over a cut of meat that may have come from a cow. The mashed potatoes were lumpy, and neither the potatoes nor the steamed vegetables were warm enough to soften butter. The only way to recognize the margarita as an alcohol drink was through an act of imagination.
I could not hear the people sitting on either side of me.
A little on the expensive side.

he food was actually quite good once you get past all the snooty older American ex-pats. I had the steak with 5 chiles sauce and it was really really tasty.

Went here with two of my friends to enjoy the rooftop bar. We all ate the same thing, but rather than having wine as they did I had a mojito. But within minutes of leaving the restaurant I had a very bad case of tourista. The jicama tacos that were tasty going down, weren't so pleasant coming up. I can only guess that the mint in my drink hadn't been properly decontaminated. Additionally, the service seemed scattered.
