“Comfortable and Convenient Apartment in Guadiana”

We spent the month of January 2016 at Casa Noble. Previously it was for three months in 2012. If we could have had three months again at Casa Noble we would have happily stayed there. There are windows on three sides, views of fireworks, a large terrace that is off the kitchen, and a very comfortable foam mattress. The large stove with a grill top was particularly appealing to my husband. A shared washing machine and many clothes lines also make a long-term stay easy. The internet connection was very reliable. A ceiling fan in the bedroom makes a summer/autumn stay comfortable. There is shopping nearby for daily food supplies and Bus #7 into Centro. Colleen is an attentive, friendly host. We will be returning!

“Perfect...size wise, location, amenities, price, and a very helpful English & Spanish speaking owner!”

Our flight arrived late in the evening. Colleen (owner) waited up for us, made sure we went to the right suite and gave us a quick tour. Colleen was a wonderful resource for us as we had never been to this city before. She directed us to a great small school to learn Spanish, gave us directions and answered our many questions. As she spoke Spanish, she also introduced us to some of the neighbours and helped us speak to each other.

Our suite was a one bedroom on the second floor. The large open kitchen, dining room and front room opened out onto a large terrace of our own. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, cutting boards, utensils and enough dishes for 4. Everything was in great shape and we did not miss anything in the month of our stay.. There was a separate closet and huge bureau between the large bedroom and double sink washroom. The washroom had a shower and tub.

On an upper deck area, there is a free washing machine and enough lines to dry all your clothes, sheets and towels. There was weekly maid service as well to wipe everything down and wash the bathroom and floors.

We found the main square, coffee shops, restaurants, and entertainment a very walk-able distance.

Liked best: Our hostess, Colleen was wonderful. Our suite was very large and clean with everything we needed.
Liked least: Can't think of a thing, everything was spotless, as advertised and had everything we needed (including coffee and fruit for our first morning).

“Can't beat this Fantastic place in a charming neighborhood”

This was our first trip to Casa Noble, but it certainly won’t be our last. The warm and welcoming essence of Mexico is evident in Casa Noble and San Miguel. We stayed for two weeks in The Jardin and it surpassed all of our expectations. It is tastefully decorated with rich tones and vibrant shades. It was spacious, yet cozy and comfortable. The suite was well stocked and included everything we needed for our stay including the welcome bonus of the shared laundry. Casa Noble is in the midst of a friendly Mexican neighborhood and it was clean and safe. We enjoyed the local sounds of the neighborhood such as the chickens crowing but enjoyed the peace and quiet of the neighborhood after the hustle and bustle of the city square. Each morning we walked down to the local corner to get our fresh fruit and vegetables for the day. The local school is a ½ block away and it was delightful to watch the children come and go. Our favorite place to eat was a taco stand (“Street Meat”) from the corner of the city square that Colleen, the host, suggested. Colleen was full of ideas of where to go and what to do. She was very helpful and made our visit to San Miguel even more enjoyable. We enjoyed sharing a glass of wine in the charming garden at the end of the day. We fell in love with Casa Noble and San Miguel and would highly recommend this place.

“Real Mexico”

This is not a resort or tourist hotel. This is living in Mexico with people who work, go to school and raise urban livestock,(chickens). In the morning you will be awakened by a symphony of roosters, barking dogs, and if you sleep in the sounds of the woodshop next door.
The facility is beautiful, and clean. If you have the 3rd floor as we did you will be in for a treat as the view is nothing short of stunning, especially if you like sunsets.
The hostess is amiable and loves to sit and chat with her guests. We actually went out with her and her ex pat friends one night.
The location is not central but about a 20 minute walk through Juarez park or down San Antonio by the Instituto Allende, and check out Victoria's restaurant on the way.

“Comfortable apartment in a great neighborhood”

My husband and I stayed in the Jardin apartment at Casa Noble the entire month of January 2015. This was our first visit to San Miguel. We loved the apartment and San Miguel, and will return to the same apartment next year for six weeks. Colleen, the owner/manager, was friendly and helpful, and went out of her way to make us comfortable and to help us when we had questions. She lives on site, and is always ready to help.
When I booked, I was disappointed not to get the terrace apartment. However, I was happy to have the Jardin apartment once I saw it. It is roomy and comfortable, and larger than the terrace apartment. It has a garden area which is pleasant, though does not have much sun. However, there is a common area with a grill where everyone can sit in the sun. There are no stairs to climb for this apartment (except to use the washer and sit in the sun on the floor where the laundry facilities are located).
Everything we needed was supplied. We were especially grateful to have a good size space heater that could be moved from room to room. The nights do get cold in the evening during January.
As advertised, Casa Noble is located in a nice, residential neighborhood and is only about a 20 minute walk to the Jardin. It is close to restaurants and the Mega food store. Though there are roosters and dogs nearby, we did not find the noise disturbing. .We much prefer these noises to the constant ringing of the church bells in the Centro.
We attended Spanish school at AHA. The apartment is located close enough to the school to walk ( if you like to walk).

“The Terrace Apt in Casa Noble is bright, well appointed and in a safe well cared for building.”
Reviewed March 13, 2015 for a stay in January 2015

The location is about 20 minutes from Centro, Mega ( big food shop) and lots of activities along Ancha San Antonio. Because it is an active neighbourhood there are lots of people around and it feels very safe. There are a few local street dogs who like to sound off at night but that isn't uncommon in Mexico.
The owner is on site and very conscientious. Having good laundry facilities on the premises was handy as I was there for two months. I am rebooking,
