“Off the beaten path...”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

If after a few days you've had all the Mexican food you can take, this small jewel is a good change of pace. It's at the south end of town near the Institute de Allende. It has about 4 tables for 4 on the terrace and 2 tables for 2 as well as inside seating. The terrace is the place to be with it's view of the parish church on a square and you can see the Parroquia in the distance. It's an anonymous little building easily found, with a welcoming staff and warm attention. Small well planned Italian menu but limited wine list. The food was good but it's the combination of food, ambience, view and charm of the staff that makes the restaurant worth visiting. Enjoy.

“Nice view”
Reviewed March 29, 2013

Small Italian restaurant with a nice view from the terrace dining area; about a 30 minute walk from the center of town so a bit off the beaten path if staying in the city center. Food and service are good; not exceptional.

“It could be worth a visit...”
Reviewed March 29, 2013

Liked the staff and the ambience of the restaurant itself, although the building that houses the restaurant is non-descript. The patio offers views of a charming church and plaza. I thought the menu, which is quite concise, was good but not exceptional. Overall a nice evening, but not one I would put on top of my list if you only have a few days in San Miguel.

“Lovely dinner”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

It was nice to have a good Italian dinner in Mexico. The place is hidden away but worth finding. Service was excellent....bruschetta was delicious if a tad over garlicky. Snapper over asparagus risotto was delicious. Cleaned the plate! Will return next visit.
