hoping for true Sicilian food, and the first antipasto plate ( eggplant, fennel, chick pea croquette) was superb! But then.....
raviolis swimming in Mexican cream soup, under seasoned, no flavor - linguine Trapanese-style pesto - was overcooked - but too much cheese (not finely grated so didn't meld into dish) spoiled it further. The Norma was ok - but tomato was soupy, under seasoned - and cheese turned to glob.
Music too loud, under a glaring light (candles would have been so, so nice). After our first course, a young, earnest, and rushed young waiter took our used forks and knives and put them on the table. That would never happen in Italy!
Yeh the terrace and view are nice - but who cares, when the food leaves so much to desire
