Great place to eat breakfast or dinner. Always good food and very reasonable. We have eaten there many times and they never disappoint.
The vegetable omelette is great for breakfast and I always get the fish special for dinner. They will let your bring your small well mannered dog.

Had a great dinner (Fettuccine).... best food on my trip. The restaurant has a very relaxing atmosphere and there was live music on Thursday night. Had such a good experience that I returned on Friday for the 2X1 Margaritas.

We ate a lunch at the mother run day identity of this place, Cafe de la Parroquia. A few days later we had dinner at the the daughter run night identity, La Brasserie. Both experiences were well worth repeating. Food, service and setting all hit the spot.

Charming, clean, consistent---service is attentive, friendly, and genuine. Fresh pastas, some Mexican specialties, and a few meat and fresh fish items round out a very satisfying menu. Very fairly priced, served with a basket of freshly baked breads and tangy avocado spread. Whether you choose breakfast, lunch, or dinner you can't go wrong here. Ownership is engaged and part of the process, and it definately shows. Fills up on weekends during the season, so they gladly take reservations. Don't forget the steamed mussels special on Friday night.

Well known to residents expecting good value for their money. Volaria, the owner, always has attractive specials in addition to her regular menu. The oilcloth covered tables in the front room give a "down home" atmosphere, and the garden atmosphere of the patio provides an alternate to suit your mood. She offers 2 for one Margaritas to aid in attitude improvement as well as a full range of cocktails.
Her mother has the restaurant at lunchtime, and it is called Cafe de la Parroquia after the central church in the Jardin (the Central Square), and in the evening it becomes La Brasserie.
Open Tuesday through Saturday at Jesus 11, Centro Historico, 5-10pm, no credit cards but a meal rarely runs over $150 pesos a person for food. (Around $12.00 USD)
