Very few bed & breakfast places master creating an atmosphere where you truly feel that you are a welcomed guest in someone's home. Antonio and Lee along with their two adorable dogs make you feel so welcomed as soon as you walk through the door, you just relax immediately. The rooms are all uniquely and beautifully decorated combining tasteful and comfortable modern furniture with interesting and gorgeous local art. The breakfasts are delicious and you can't help but feel truly cared for while staying in this lovely bed & breakfast. The location is extremely convenient and while we were there, we found ourselves in the middle of an incredible local celebration - making our experience in San Miguel even more exciting and memorable. As for the views - wow! Spectacular. We highly recommend this lovely place! We hope there is room for us on our next visit because we'll definitely be back.

I checked out of Casa Cinco Patios today and have to say that it was one of my most memorable B&B stays. The views of San Miguel Allende are spectacular from most of the 5 terraces. The rooms are modern and tastefully appointed and the service is superb. The owner Antonio does a fantastic job of rolling out the welcome mat.

And it's great to get breakfast cooked for you in a B&B and have really fast Internet in your room.

There are a whole bunch of hummingbird feeders on one of the terraces, which have the birds hovering and zipping around in their droves. It's quite a spectacle and adds to the charm and character of the property.

Such a great place to stay. I will return.

I do not have words to describe my lovely experience in "Casa Cinco Patios"; since the first moment I was welcomed into to the house, I was amazed by all the detail in the decoration around the house, the cleanliness, and the warm hospitality by Antonio. You can use any of the "cinco patios" to have breakfast, to barbecue, to look at the landscape of San Miguel Allende, and enjoy life at its best. Cinco Patios is at walking distance from the plaza, from the mirador(by the way Cinco Patios has a better view than the mirador), Antonio gives you all the information you might need to make this vacation as magical as it can be. The room was very quite, the food freshly cooked, free internet, and staying at Cinco Patios truly made my experience of coming to San Miguel de Allende an unforgettable time of my life. I highly recommend Casa Cinco Patios in every respect: location, hospitality, cleanliness, and its refined picked Mexican decor.

We love to travel a lot and have been to many places all over Mexico. We do not like big hotels, we prefer smaller places specifically for this trip we wanted to stay at a quiet and comfortable Bed and Breakfast. Casa Cinco Patios was truly delightful. It is a small kind of boutique Boutique with everything you need, it is a stunning property. The rooms are very nice with real Egyptian cotton sheets (I am very picky about this things) The food is very good, everything was fresh. We liked that it was close to all major attractions in San Miguel Allende.
Antonio greeted us personally and helped us with all we need. He gave us good advice from the best places to go.
We will book another trip in November at Casa Cinco Patios, we want to see Day of the Dead celebration. We heard is great.

The best place for a vacation in San Miguel Allende. The service was the best. Since the moment we arrived, Antonio greeted us very kindly and make us feel like home.
From the first moment we loved the house. We stayed in room of Los Pajaros. The whole bathroom is tiled in Mexican Style. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean and the best quality.
When we saw the other courtyards fell in love with San Miguel, from the main courtyard you can see the whole town even the lake.
Breakfast was very good, Licha is very friendly and a good cook as well. The 2 doggies are very playful and nice trained.

Room Tip: Driving in San Miguel Can be difficult, we love to walk

When you go to San Miguel de Allende, if you in Mexico is a must, stay in Casa Cinco Patios, a beautiful cozy house steps away from el mirador with a even more breathtaking view. Located in Paco Vargas Road (Real Salida a Queretaro) name after the famous tenor who's house is across the street, opposite to Cantiflas old house now fancy restaurant (perfect for a date), one of the quickest ways to get to the tianguis (Farmers market) and the freeways, but few (walking distance) blocks of the main Plaza and Cathedral without the luxurious prices. What I enjoyed the most about this place was not the detailed decoration nor the various themes of its rooms varying from traditional to modern mexico styles all decorated with exquisite taste, nor the ambiance of each patio where you can relax, BBQ or wine under the stars, (Each patio is on a different level, 4 with stunning views), If you are an animal lover you'll enjoyed the company of Benito and Draco the house friendly dogs, The staff is courteous, helpful and nice (Very important to me.) ... what I enjoyed the most was the energy of the place, a very peaceful, warm vibe that always made me feel at home. (Btw the cabinets have anything you may need from q-tips to nail polish and so on, so travel light, or save the luggage space for the Artesanias market you'll need it.)

Room Tip: top floor has an amazing view and is quieter...

My husband and I celebrated his 60th birthday in San Miguel de Allende in August 2013. We booked at Casa Cinco Patios at the last minute due to problems with a different hotel reservation. Antonio could not have been nicer. He booked our room, communicated with us, gave us suggestions about the best shuttle service from Leon Airport to San Miguel and greeted us with a warm smile when we arrived. Casa Cinco Patios is a beautiful home. Antonio and Lee are gracious and helpful, but they will also leave you alone. We were free to use the kitchen and any of the five patios. It was such an easy, comfortable experience. Licha makes a fabulous Huevos Mexicanos and keeps the home immaculate. I'm a fussy housekeeper, so when I say clean, I mean clean -- you could walk across the floor with white socks on and not have a speck of dirt show on them. The dogs, Draco and Benito greeted us enthusiastically every time we came back to the house and made the visit all the more special. The cactus garden on the second patio is beautiful and Lee and Antonio have decorated the house beautifully with Mexican art and artifacts. Both speak perfect English, if that's a concern for you. Both my husband and I needed a place that was nice, but not fussy and that's exactly what we got. I recommend Casa Cinco Patios without hesitation.

Room Tip: A note about the sleep quality. This has nothing to do with Casa Cinco Patios, but San Miguel de All...
