This hotel is very eclectic. I don't suppose any of the rooms are even similar, and the first suite we were offered, Frida, was perfectly fine but didn't really suit us. When we told the management, we were moved to the Ginger suite, which was really very special. There were three rooms: a bedroom, and living/dining room and a very large bathroom. The place was spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the center of town.
The included breakfast was very good, and prepared to our order.
Unfortunately, tourism to San Miguel is down due to a number of factors. Among those are fear of health-related problems, and/or crime. Neither was a factor, and in my opinion should not be viewed as a negative when visiting central Mexico.
We would certainly return to Casa Quetzal.
