A beautiful serene park for a stroll or run with palm-lined paths. It seems more like a botanical garden than a park, until you come to the basketball courts and children's playground. Lots of activity around these areas. There were a couple of vendors selling bubbles and treats. It is an easy interesting walk from the Jardin to this park.

The Parque Juarez is a bit run down, but otherwise pleasant. Surrounded by lovely homes, hotels and restaurants, it is usually filled with families, dogwalkers, Zumba afficionados, young lovers, etc. There are also basketball courts and a nice childrens' playground. This is one of the few places a runner can safely run a few miles without risking life and limb.

This is a park in San Miguel that locals mingle around and a good spot to grab a taxi. Not much to say but do be careful, some of the most uneven sidewalks can be found here.

we've been here twice now, and it is one of the best public parks I've ever seen. The grounds are well maintained but allowed to grow au naturale - there's numerous areas with stellar play structures, interesting sculptures, a huge basketball field and stage area (once a whole class of kids was doing zumba, another time a couple pickup games were going on), there's booths that sell snacks/fruit, artists who set out their lovely paintings along the perimeter, a ravene and creek to look down at, and many happy faces. great great great.

I take my dog to Parque Juarez where it's easy to have a conversation with other dog owners, the artists who show their work there, or even some of the children playing there. In the mornings and evenings you can watch or join in with the yogis, the zumba participants, watch basketball or skate boarders practicing their tricks. The trees are tall, the grounds beautifully kept, full of tropical plants, and wandering path punctuated by fountains. No excuses to not exercise while on vacation!
