Intimately cared for by cloistered nuns, the Iglesia de la Concepción is generally cool, clean, and quiet, with Masses at least twice a day (at 7:30am and 7pm).

Highly recommend a visit to this church which is a bit off the beaten track. They have English masses on a Sunday, but if you are not interested/ can't attend that then do still ahve a look at the beautiful altar, the oil paintings and the grand dome.

I had a such a lovely visit to this church. The main cathedral may lead many to overlook Iglesia de la Concepcion, but that is a shame because it is so beautiful and peaceful inside, it is definitely worth a visit.

An old church with a nice facade and huge dome inspired in the Invalides temple in Paris, worth a visit especially if you also have a look at the Nigromante Cultural Centre nearby.
