“All roads lead to La Parroquia”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

If you are staying in San Miguel it is hard to miss. It is located in the historic center and is one sight that is as beautiful at night as it is during the day. A must see if you visit San MIguel.

“Surprising inside out”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

The church was built by a mason who copied it from a postcard of the Cathedral of Koln (Germany), the brick-laying is evident and elaborate both inside and outside, very different from any other church you will see in Mexico's altiplano

“Mesmerizing!”
Reviewed August 31, 2013

The Parroquia is absolutely enchanting! It is a pleasure to sit on one of the many benches in the Jardin, across from the Parroquia and just be absorbed by the ambience of this building. The bells ringing in the clock tower can be heard throughout San Miguel. The real treasure of the Parroquia is seen when lights up at night!

“La Parroquia - San Miguel de Allende”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

This gothic-inspired, pink granite structure is the most recognizable photo from San Miguel. Residents gather in the park just in front of the church and at night, mariachis play. It's the best part of visiting San Miguel.
