Great place to stay. Ideally situated to everything ...el Jardin, Mercado de Artesanias, shops, bakeries, grocery stores. Secure and safe. Grounds lush and relaxing. Casita #5 very roomy!!! Owner was gracious & staff just great. Weather was awesome, cool in mornings sunny in afternoons. Very little rain mainly in evenings, this place added to the charm of San Miguel.

My family and I had the pleasure of spending a month in casita #3. Pat the owner was very warm and welcoming and always available and very responsive to our needs. We were extremely comfortable in our tastefully decorated, delightful casita, and the grounds are so beautiful and relaxing. The location is very central, an enjoyable short walk to most sights, very easy to get around. San Miguel is awesome and we will definitely be back and stay at Casa de Aparicio. Thank you, Pat!

We recently returned from a 3 month stay at Casa de Aparicio. We couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. Originally our stay was to be for a longer period of time, but, regretably, we had to cut our time short due to a family emergency.

Casa de Aparicio consists of 5 rental casitas of varying sizes and prices with the owner Pat living on the premises in her own apartment. We started our stay in Casita #1, the smallest of the casitas offered, because Casista #5 was occupied for our first month there. Although Casita #1 was small in comparision to the other casitas, it was cozy, well appointed and quite comfortable. In fact, we actually became quite attached to it and considered staying there for our entire stay if it had been available. However, after our first month, we relocated to the largest casita on the premises - Casita #5. This casita was very spacious, with a huge well-lit kitchen with several large windows looking out over the property. We prepared many delicious meals there and the aromas from our cooking did not go unnoticed by the owner and other residents. We also checked out the other casitas and would rent any one of them with no hestitation.

Casa de Aparicio is extremely well located and is less than a 5 minute walk to the Jardin. Even with its proximity to the sometimes craziness of Centro, Casa de Aparicio is like a refreshing oasis. It is only a short, safe walk up Mesones after a night out on the town. When you pass through the front gate, you feel a definite feeling of peace and quiet embracing you.

Thank you, Pat for your friendliness and hospitality. A nicer landlady would be impossible to find. We cannot wait to return to San Miguel and Casa de Aparicio.

I recently spent the month of April in San Miguel and was thrilled with my stay at Casa de Aparicio. At the onset, owner Pat, was most hospitable and hosted a little cocktail party for her guests to become acquainted with each other. She lives on the top tier of the property and is always available for any need or just conversation. The website photos clearly tell the story of Casa de Aparicio . . . colorful, beautiful flora and comfortable accommodations. I stayed in Casita #3 and thoroughly enjoyed the morning sun at my patio as I had my coffee with the surrounding flowers and the birds in the trees. And, the location of the property is superb, tucked into a quiet neighborhood, yet only blocks from all that San Miguel has to offer . . . the Churches, the Jardin, the Mercado, shopping, restaurants & galleries and the many fiestas. This was my 5th visit to San Miguel and the 1st of what I hope will be future stays at Casa de Aparicio. I truly found my “home away from home” thanks to Pat, her staff and the guests.

We are currently staying at Casa de Aparicio. It is not a hotel but, instead, five (5) nicely appointed "casitas" which their owner, Pat Robinson - who also lives on the premises - rents on either short or long term basis. Every "casita" is different and, of course, you need to decide which is more convenient for you, considering if you are traveling solo or not and how much your budget is. However, whatever your situation would be, you will find at this place very cozy clean accomodations, nicely appointed and fully equipped units. Maid service and fresh good quality linens are provided once a week. All you need to "worry" about during your stay is the rent because everything is practically included. Also, this place enjoys of an excellent location not only because is at a walking distance to El Jardin but the neighborhood is vey safe and quite. If you have an issue because, say, your TV set is not at the right place, Pat will do her best to try to find a better spot for it. If the door of your unit is not working, for example, she will replace it...and, once a month, she will organize a get together so you will be able to know your neighbors while enjoying nice Mexican dishes and some wine. In the past, while visiting San Miguel where to stay became always an issue. Not anymore. That problem now belongs to the past. Thank you, Pat for all your incredible warm hospitality.

My casita was a very comfortable place to spend a month. The location is ideal, three blocks from the plaza and much closer to many restaurants, a good market and a very friendly cantina one block away. Pat´s a great host with lots of good suggestions of things to do in the area.

Recently my wife spent two weeks at Casa Aparicio .This was our first visit to Casa Aparicio, it will not be our last. It is a comfortable well kept facility with beautifully maintained outside areas.

Since we were visiting San Miguel for the sixth time we were familiar with the city. Our search for accommodations was initially concentrated on finding a convenient location. The quest was rewarded when we founf Casa Aparicio. It is a comfortable, downhill, ten minute walk from the Jardin which is the geographical and cultural center of the city.

The highlight of our visit was meeting Pat , the woman that owns the facility. She was gracious, accommodating and helpful. She responded quickly and efficiently to our needs or requests. Her friendliness made us feel like guests in her home.
