Certificate of Excellence

Do you wish you could return to a more civilized time in an increasingly tumultuous world? Come to Casa Misha and allow yourself to be transported to a luxurious environment where beauty surrounds you. As you enter through the large wooden doors, you see lush gardens, courtyards and terraces and feel you are in an elegant private residence. Each of this boutique hotel's seven bedrooms is beautifully furnished, including luxe bed linens and toiletries.
Whether it is in your room, on a terrace, or the rooftop, a sumptuous breakfast you design is served on elegant china with sterling silver pots of jam and crisp linens. At sunset, enjoy cocktails on the rooftop terrace with a panoramic view of beautiful San Miguel de Allende.
Perhaps Casa Misha's best attribute is their helpful, talented staff who happily attend to your every wish. Owners Richard and Edward will personally help you with suggestions for good restaurants, many within walking distance along narrow cobblestone streets, and excursions to explore the city with its array of galleries and jardins, magnificent ancient churches, shops and cafes.
Our stay at Casa Misha was dreamy. It is truly an outstanding hotel which we recommend highly and plan to visit again.

We chose Casa Misha based on the reviews from Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. Arriving early on an overnight flight to Leon we were offered the Grande Suite since the room we had booked, Parroquia was not yet available. Since we ended up being the only guests for our stay, we were given the option of complimentary upgrade to the Grande or the Parroquia (smaller but with charming view). We opted for the Grande because of its size, elegant decor, huge walk-in closet and lovely bath. The owners and staff couldn't have been more helpful from arranging driver from airport, assisting us with bus tickets, and arranging taxi and towels for a visit to the mineral pools at La Gruta along with dinner recommendations.
This is perhaps the loveliest small hotel we have stayed in. We are usually quite self-sufficient travelers but quickly adapted to the amazing personal service of breakfast served on fine english china anywhere we wanted on the property from a charming garden room to roof top terraces, and evening drinks delivered to a candlelit terrace overlooking the town.
San Miguel Allende is a beautiful town with many interesting shops and excellent restaurants. We would highly recommend a visit to both the town and this lovely hotel.

This is truly a hotel that exceeds expectations. All the wonderful reviews are richly deserved.
First the owners Richard and Edward. They really go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. We live in England and flew to Mexico City. They sorted our transport, a car and driver to get us easily to San Miguel. They also arranged the onward transport for after our stay.
They have put huge efforts in getting the hotel just right. Each room is a gem. When you book you should study the rooms on the website so as to chose the one to suit you the best. We stayed in Terrace - of course has its own private terrace. The room itself is perfect with great decorations - each I am sure individually chosen. Breakfast - made to order was served on fine china each day by Juan. You have to decide which of the several terraces to dine on. One day we had breakfast on the terrace overlooking the town and its various churches. Unspeakably beautiful.
We are new to San Miguel and we love to dine out. The three different recommendations during our stay were all great - and the owners booked us tables and we suspect ensured we had great service.
The owners are very friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive. We had drinks with them one night before going out to dine - the Margaritas they serve are also world class.
In all this is a great hotel for couples and friends to relax and enjoy - we will certainly return.

Room Tip: Just look at the website - all the rooms are individual and wonderful. Terrace was particulaly light...

We have just returned from a four night stay at this special hotel! This is our fourth visit to San Miguel, and our first stay at Casa Misha, and it is hands down our favorite! The location is just perfect, on a quiet street not far from the center "zocalo", with the faint sounds of church bells in the distance. We were greeted on arrival by the two delightful owners, Richard and Edward, and their concern for their guests and attention to every detail in the hotel is evident. This attitude is also present among all their staff, who strive to meet your every need. The rooms are all thoughtfully and beautifully decorated, but with all the modern amenities. Breakfasts were delicious and served on beautiful china in different locations in the house . . . on a patio overlooking San Miguel, in the cozy dining room, or in your room. We were treated like royalty! It truly was a special treat, and we can't wait to return!

Room Tip: There was minor construction going on up the road, but Richard was very concerned that we have a qui...

Such a nice place!
We were supposed to spend 3 nights in Casa Misha during summer 2013... we felt so good there that we couldn't leave and spent 2 more nights.
Everything is beautifull, cosy, elegant and charming.
An other important detail: everything is perfectly clean.
The very educated staff made us feel at home. Special thanks to Magda for all the attentions since my first phone call.
Definitly a very sofisticated place.

Room Tip: all the room are beautifull. If you need an extra bed, the best one is "Jardin" see photo.

Casa Misha is a beautifully decorated house with a spectacular view from the terrace (especially at sunset). We had a 5 night stay, and absolutely fell in love with Casa Misha. Since we first stepped in, the staff made us feel very welcome and was very helpful in recommending all the sites and restaurants to visit. Its location is walking distance to all sites.
Best hotel in San Miguel de Allende!
