The hotel is situated in a very quaint and quiet area set back from main roads but very handy for visiting the Snowdonia national park and key towns and historic venues. My wife and I have returned from one of the hotels indulgence breaks , two nights stay fantastic breakfasts and the food on offer in the restaurant was absolutely first class. The staff we encounted made us feel like part of the family and so welcome , room was very comfortable and well equipped. I have to talk about the food , we had as part of the offer a 5 course meal with champers one the first night , absolutely fabulous quality and so so good, try the surf n turf with the lobster,WOW , on our second night a 3 course with a quarter bottle of vintage port and a cheeseboard of local cheeses to finish off , unbelievable service and great quality gastronomic food. If your planning to visit this area of Wales , please stay at Ty'n Rhos , I promise you , you won't regret it.

Room Tip: From what we saw ,all the rooms looked fantastic , we stayed in room no.8 Larkspur with views of bot...

Just back from a wonderful 1 night stay at Tyn Rhos while in the area on business. Lovely welcome and clean big room with all you would need. Booked to have dinner, owner was very guest focused and would do anything to help and welcome you as if you were staying as a family member. The menu really is fine dining, I ordered the chicken 'best roast you will ever taste' and it really was, presentation was exceptional and tasted good too. Finished with the secretive chocolate special on the dessert menu and it was a trio of chocolate delights. Once dinner was over I relaxed with a coffee with a couple of extra treats in the conservatory with a great view. Hotel was quiet even though it was busy. Location was perfect and I really will encourage my family to venture here on a long weekend. Any colleagues visiting the area I will recommend this to too. You won't regret booking at this hotel, I'm just sad I only could stay one night. Thank you mr & mrs murphy! Deco was lovely and tasteful, slight modernisation in bathrooms to be more luxurious would be my only feedback :-)

We stayed overnight at Tyn Rhos while on holiday in North Wales. The staff were very efficient and welcoming and very helpful. The room was lovely and spacious and it had all the facilities you would expect. We dined in and were shown to the lounge area to look at the menus where the waitress brought some pre dinner nibbles which was a nice idea, a smoothie shot, mixed nuts and some wantons with chilli dip. It was all lovely. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast substantial with a wide variety of choice.

Will definately come back and stay in the future.

After trying to find a dog-friendly hotel in North Wales, we were so pleased to find this hotel offering everything we needed nestled away from main roads and yet so close to Anglesey.
The owners Stephen and Hilary (and Laura) and the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Holly (our dog) was particulary happy to receive such a lovely welcome from the owners and Murphy the pointer on her first holiday away.
We stayed for three nights including dinner and every meal was delicious (visitors must try the Tyn Rhos chocolate!).
The room was very spacious and comfortable with doors out onto a patio and view of the pond.
We look forward to returning to this gem of a hotel.

The hotel is in a excellent location being close to all good walks and attractions, and it is just what we needed. It had beautiful gardens and is away from the hustle and bustle of life. The service was good, rooms were clean and spacious, and had very good views. The restaurant served excellent food cooked to very high standard, especially the lobster dish. Breakfast was brilliant, all homemade with local produce.Overall it is top marks for TYN RHOS.

However it is pricey, and it is top end of the market. The restaurant bill was expensive, but the quality made up for it. We would be happy to visit again, if our budget permits.

Room Tip: Book early. Avoid high season if you can. You have to try the hotel resturant. But if you staying fo...

Room Tip: Honeysuckle-room 1-is delightful with a garden view and comfy chairs in which to relax.

We stayed for a two night weekend break from 9th August 2013.
The hotel is in a lovely quiet location away from the main roads but very easy to find. It is a convenient base to use to explore many attractions in North Wales.

We really enjoyed our stay, the room was tastefully decorated, very clean and comfortable as were all areas of the hotel that we saw. It was lovely to relax in the conservatory in the evening having pre dinner drinks.
The food was outstanding, every dish we had for dinner was to the same high standard using local, fresh produce. Breakfast was wonderful too, there was plenty to choose from.

From arrival at the hotel until our departure all of the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. It was clear that they all work hard and very well as a team to ensure all guests enjoy their stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we left feeling like we had really been looked after.

This is a gem of a hotel and we are sure that we will return again.
