There isn't a listing on TripAdvisor for the Sli Dala restaurant in Kinnitty Castle, so I'm putting it in under the Slieve Bloom Bar :
We’d booked in on a bed, breakfast and evening meal basis into Kinnitty Castle. The dining room is big, high-ceilinged room looking out onto the sweeping lawn to the front of the castle. If you wish to dine at a table at the window, it’s essential that you book early (for obvious reasons). There are lots of interesting paintings and artefacts around the room and as the evening wore on and became dusky, the candles on every table really came into their own. The glow from candle light brings with it a state of relaxation and calm. Food was delicious , all totally fresh and locally sourced. It was cooked to perfection and presentation was an art in itself. We chose a very inexpensive bottle of red wine which turned out surprisingly good. Service was prompt and staff very friendly. This was a special dinner on a special occasion and it was most enjoyable.
