Stayed up there last summer for a bachelor party. We rented 2 private cabins, there was probably about 20 of us. The grounds were nice. during the day we rafted and bbq'd back at our cabins and partied pretty hard. none of the employees bothered us just once told us to keep the volume of the radio down. This was my second time up there and will definitely be heading back for another white water rafting trip.!!!!

Only downfall, like a 5 hour drive from Boston

Been coming here for 15 years now snowmobiling. Staff is always pleasant and accommodating. Trails are on property right out your own front door, gas on site, full restaurant and there own brewery on site. What else do you need.

Our snowmobile trip from Pittsburg,Nh to Northern Outdoors The Forks,Me was great during the reciprocal weekend. The 170mile one way trip was a great experience and fun ride for our group of 5 sledders. We stayed one night at Northern Outdoors which was great. We had dinner their and then hung out in the main lodge socializing, playing pool and had a few refreshments. To our disappointment the outdoor hot tub was not working. We got up the next morning and had breakfast and rode back another 170 miles in about 7 hours.
Great trip and great time at Northern Outdoors and we look forward to doing it again.

As we x-skiing through Maine Huts and Trails, we planned to get out of the woods at The Forks and we needed a lift back to our cars. I asked Northern Outdoors to help us. In return we got much more than just a car ride.

Russel met us at the end of the trail half hour before we asked for. He patiently waited for the rest of out group (2 out of 12) for an hour. Then we were transferred to his lodge where we were given big room for our party to repack and have dinner. Food was excellent. Beer from lodge microbrewery was delicious, waitresses were polite and very efficient.

It was not the first time we dealt with Northern Outdoors and Russel. It was pleasant experience. and we will for sure come back.

Thank you to Russel and to entire Norther Outdoors staff.

Peter:
Thanks very much for your nice comments. It's always a pleasure to be able to help you, your family and friends out with van shuttles between The Forks and Carrabassett Valley.

I look forward to working with you again next year as you plan another trip to ski the Maine Huts & Trails system.

Sincerely,
Russell

Was a great time again the service and staff was excellent and friendly the weekend was really busy!!!!!!!!!!! and they did all they could to keep up and they still provided excellent service. Nice to see the upgrades to the rooms also i really liked them. The groomers did an excellent job to have great trails ready and keeping them up . Best of all we ran into our friends there and had a even better time if that's possible.

Room tip: There all great!
