While the food in the restaurant is on the whole outstanding and good value, the speed of service is terrible.

Staff are often over stretched as the restaurant is usually busy at weekends, however they are always very polite.

Well worth a visit but do be prepared for a wait for courses!

Being local and one for supporting small businesses thought we would give it a try despite a few negative reviews. We went mid week for my daughter's birthday. Service was dreadful, we waited ages in reception before the sole waiter came over, even though he'd seen us as he passed, a simple acknowledgment would have been good. We waited ages between courses probably down to the fact that there was only one guy working. Food was ok, slightly expensive for what we got, my daughter's pasta was very dry and the promised cheese never materialised. A party of 8 came in whilst we were there with a toddler, they waited ages for a high chair and eventually sat the child on their knee. We never saw the waiter for ages so gave up on the idea of coffee, asking for the bill wasn't an option, we eventually went to the bar to pay on our way out. Wouldn't go again and sadly wouldn't recommend it

Lovely clean and friendly restaurant on the outskirts of Blyth. They offer £4.95 for three courses on an early evening special and their standard a la carte menu is very reasonable, with choices of italian, spanish and greek delicious dishes and a fantastic dessert choice (you can have one dessert or a little bit of all of them!). Well worth a trip down Cowpen Road to visit!

Not being a snob, but when you think of Blyth, you don't immediately think 'haute cuisine', but this place is a little gem. Having passed this many times, its not the most aesthetically pleasing, thought we'd give it a go. Once you enter, it looks nothing like the outside. Very comfy, great prices and good quality home cooked food. Looking forward to our next visit

The restaurant hosted a Hen Party that I attended and they dealt with the mixed table very well, all of the food was served at the same time and they got everything right. I had mussels as a starter and they were amongst the best I have had but be warned the portion is massive!!!
