The place, the breakfast, the area, the owner..... everything is just so perfect. Normally paying is the hardest part of the stay, but this time I can say that is was worth every Euro. It's not heaven but here in Ireland its your best option!

Whenever I have a little break I end up in Allihies most of the time. Years back I stayed over night in this exceptional B&B and was most impressed with what's on offer. Now I am coming back whenever I can. Irene and her family is so nice that you might believe you are a part of it after a while. All the rooms are not only very comfortable and unbelievably clean, they all overlook the amazing landscape of Beara and the whole beach.
Whatever needs a traveller has on ones journey, Irene thought of it. There is a hairdryer, an iron, a big kettle, hangers and towels in the bucketload, an electric blanket, tv set and several cuddly blankets in case it gets really cold. All rooms ensuite of course. If you book in advance you can be sure your bed is warm at arrival. Even more comfort with tea/coffee facilities in the room and chocolate bars. A nice fridge is ready for traveller's food leftovers where you can find fresh milk at anytime. And the breakfast is divine!!!! All one could wish for, very tasty and so much that no one leaves hungry. On rainy days you can enjoy books of all different subjects and even in different languages.
This B&B comes very close to heaven. I never was in a better one and I will come back whenever I can.

I stayed for a night in October and I was probably the only guest. There were chocolate bars in my room and plenty of fresh milk. The room was big, with table, chairs and a good tv. The bath had everything one could need. For breakfast there was every kind of juice and cereals and dried fruits. A fruit salad was already on my table, as was the cheese. The trad Irish was very well cooked and when I finished everything I was give tin foil to make myself a sandwich with bread and cheese. By the way, it also been the cheepest of my all tour.

Lovely B+B run by a lovely woman, Irene. Exceptionally clean and well kept. Very reasonable. Gorgeous breakfast. Cannot complain. Will definately stay again in the future.

Room Tip: Sea view room was well worth the extra €5.

A very nice house surrounding the sea, the rooms are cosy and perfectly clean. Irene is incredibly helpful and will do everything to make sure you feel like home. Excellent breakfast of course, a very good value for money. I'll definitely return to Beach View!
