We've tried to pop in here a couple of times now and find the clientele a bit frosty. One couple put their coats on and left the pub so we sat at their table, which was empty. They came back and asked us to move! Weird.

Not sure what to say to this! - Hoping that when the reviewer put their 13 different reviews together on the same day on tripadvisor that maybe they mixed us up with another Pub! - non welcoming and cliquey certainly isn't something we aspire to as many people will already have experienced at the George - hoping this will be rectified by the reviewer if it is a mistake - if not I can only apologise although not sure that tripadvisor is about rating the actual customers or the experience delivered by the owners & staff - weird!

We live in Windsor and often eat at The George.
If you want to know how to run a great pub/restaurant then pop down and have a look.
The food is simple pub food done REALLY well. Tasty, fresh and great value. Oh and the staff and great and so welcoming.
The best Sunday Roast around!

We have eaten at the George on three occasions and have never been disappointed. The menu is varied and all the food is excellent. Good selection of real ales and friendly service all make for a very pleasant experience
