Very nice course tucked away a little further than expected.Playing conditions were excellent. Plays shorter than the card because of a few very downhill tee shots. Small parking that could use some TLC.Didn't avail our selves of apre golf but it looked very nice.

The public course is convenient to Vail and Beaver creek, located on the mountain just west of Avon. The course itself is well worn but interesting, although some miniature golf style holes may have been designed by Walt Disney to accommodate all 18. Expect play to be extremely slow to accommodate the hunt for lost balls, and the large number vacation golfers. The facilities and parking areas are very dated and long pass the upgrade date. The staff is there to shuttle you from the hillside parking if you bother them. The staff acts annoyed you are there and make no attempt to disguise their arrogant attitude. When, in a rational and helpful way I mentioned the shortcomings, I was told in a smug manner, they enjoyed a location advantage and other courses are less convenient. That is true, but be advised to expect a long frustrating day. There are much more competitively priced and enjoyable public golf courses farther west towards Eagle. Those courses, by far have newer much nicer facilities, including club house and grill. The courses further west are much better designed and extremely well maintained with a welcoming staff that appreciates your business. Allowing for the slow play, the scenic drive to a course further west would be well worth the effort.

First time in the area and a friend suggested the course. Great layout and in good condition. Several holes are a strong challenge. Very busy for a Monday

Have played here multiple years and the course is in good condition. Always a challenge for this hack. You’ll love the scenery and the course. Challenging greens as well. A very good value.
