We visited Bob's Place twice during our week in Avon. Our first visit was after arriving in Colorado and we just wanted a quick, late lunch before joining family members for a reunion. My husband and I both ordered breakfast foods for lunch, and my husband's sausage/bagel benedict made him very, very happy. I was less thrilled with the crab benedict, since I'd asked for it with no avocado, but it came with a layer of avocado under the eggs. Fortunately, I noticed before I bit into any of the green slimy stuff, and the manager was very nice when I pointed it out and immediately took it off the bill. But we liked the service and the rest of the meal and it was very convenient to our hotel, so we planned a return visit. We went back several days later with the entire family group -- 11 adults and 10 children, ranging in age from 14 months to 10 years. We sat at the outdoor tables, allowing the kids to run around in the grass and play in the sandbox. A group that large takes some time to serve and we went there with 10 minutes notice, so we were very happy with both the food and the service. Everything was served quickly (and we were all very happy with our meals, including the kids), the waiter was happy to split the bill several ways (but one very generous family member just grabbed the bill and paid it), and they didn't hurry us out of there when they'd cleared the tables.
