Great location, just a short two minute walk to the bus stop for free shuttle to the slopes. Or a short 10 minute walk to the gondola that takes you to Beaver Creek Landing. Ski lockers were nice, rather than carting your equipment to your room. Indoor/under garage parking was great and free! Very spacious room and full kitchen in the one bedroom unit. Staff was helpful and always polite. Restaurants are in walking distance or a short car ride, parking available all over Avon for free as well. Grocery store is near as well. Outdoor hot tubs were nice and had a indoor/outdoor pool which was heated. Free internet was less than desirable, but it was free! Would definitely stay here again!

we (2 people) got a studio and it was surprisingly spacious with a full kitchenette, queen bed, side-table, a good size closet, couch, a decent-sized table, and nice & clean bathrooms. tiny tv though but that was ok. the staff was courteous and friendly and the room was clean, well maintained and frankly a pleasant surprise given the price we paid.

the location is pretty good as well, the bus stop to the slopes is on lake st, less than a block away. the hotel has convenient outside and garage parking. and there are tons of good restaurants within 10mins driving distance.

overall, highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Its location made Falcon Point better than expected.
The staff went above and beyond to help all the residents, and create a very friendly atmosphere.
Our 2 br unit provided privacy for us and our daughter and her children: each br had its own bath, with large living, dining & well equipped kitchen in between. The clubhouse provides many activiites--and the pool area has a lot of both sun and shade.
Best of all is the location. Next door is a beautiful park with playgrounds, lake, biking/walking trails, train station and educational garden. In walking distance is a grocery, post office, restaurants, pharmacy.
There is so much going on in the Vail area and in the small communities nearby, that one can enjoy every season.

Well situated, particularly with the new gondola from avon to the Lower Beaver Creek express lift. Pleasant staff who were helpful and provided useful information. The room was spacious and contained all we required. Facilities were in good condition. Free internet access in the games room, which also contained a pool table, heated outdoor swimming pool and two hot tubs. We also utilised the BBQs which is great fun in the snow.

We would recommend these apartments to anybody who wants to stay in Avon, but wants the option of self catering.

We stayed here for the week of July 4th-11 and it was beautiful location, right on Lake Nottingham, with a great view and lots of stuff for my 3 and one year old to do. We were in a 1 bedroom that was very spacious and had a stunning kitchen (better than the last two Westin timeshares that I stayed in). When I called Interval International to make the trade for this week, the service rep actually tried to steer me to the Sheraton (which is close by) because they are a "gold" resort and Falcon Point is only "silver" but I chose Falcon Point because the reviews here on Tripadvisor had showed people at the Sheraton complaining about freeway noise with the windows open in the summer and lack of views. Now that I have stayed at Falcon Point, I think that I made the right choice, although there was no Jacuzzi in the room (as other places have), we did have an awesome view of the lake and mountains and didn't hear the freeway with the windows open (almost all the places in Avon are near the freeway so we were really happy about that). I would totally recommend Falcon Point for a beautiful summer getaway, my only complaint (which was partially my fault) was that Avon did their fireworks on the lake on the 3rd this year so we missed them...if we come next year, we will definitely find out when they are so we can see them!

I stayed at Falcon Point in Avon from December 7th - 14th. Through Interval International Getaway program I was lucky enough to get this studio timeshare for under $300 for the week. For the price I paid I was not expecting much, however I was pleasantly surprised. If you are looking for a resort with a bar, restaurant, lively activity in the lobby then this is not your place. Instead I found a resort that is quite, family orientated, and conveniently located. The decor is actually very nice. It looks like they have restored this place recently. The kitchenette (I had a studio) was small but adequate. The room was like a nice sized hotel room. Like most timeshares housekeeping only comes once and they did a good job. The bathroom and entrance way has new tiles and fixtures. My only complaint is that I had a queen, not a king bed, and it was definitely not the best mattress in the world. The heat worked great and the view of the frozen lake and mountains were a great feature.
Avon has grown so much since the last time I have been here (4 years ago). There is plenty of restaurants, bars, and things to do here. If you want to go to Vail Village you are looking at about a 10 minute drive. (Buses are available from the Sheraton down the block). Beaver Creek Village is really close and the Gondola from the Westin Resort is to open next week (12/21/07).
All in all I would consider this like a 3 star hotel. Better then a Radisson, not as good as a Marriott or Westin.
Skiing was great but expensive. If you are driving from Denver stop at a King Soopers to buy your lift tickets. You will save about $15 a day. Have fun!!!

We loved our week at Falcon Point! We booked a two bedroom, two bath unit. The room was exceptional. We had an incredible balcony, over looking the lake which had a walking path and a great playground. The rooms were very spacious with lots of storage. The kitchen was very nice, granite countertops and top of the line appliances and utinsels. We loved the woodburning fireplace. We used the big pile of logs they gave us and they brought more wood free. They even provide the matches and fire starters. The staff was very helpful and easy to work with. There is an internet computer available in the big screen tv room. The pool went from inside to outside and was nicely heated. There were three hot tubs, suana and exercise room. We looked at the studios, they were small; probably one or two people only. The one bedrooms were worth whatever the difference in price is. Very nicely done, Falcon Point. We will be back soon.
