Whiat an amazing property. We stayed during ski season and the gondola right on the property makes it so easy. after a long day on the slopes, nothing was more fitting than some time in the spa. WOW, what a spa! i did not get to take advantage of the spa services, but the facilities in the spa and gym were above and beyond any expectations we had so i would imagine we were missing out on an incredible massage.
huge fireplaces and live music in the lobby make for a very inviting and sociable gathering spot for the evening.
Our room was on par with the rest of the hotel. will definitely be returning.

This hotel has great facilities and is in the perfect location for access to the gondala which takes you to the Bachelor Gulch lift.

The staff are second to none. A big shout out to the guys in the Ski Valet who provide a fabulous service and are a great source of local information. A big shout out to Rob, Dan, Colt and Ken. You guys rock.

The bar staff are also helpful, friendly and will sit and chat if they have time. Unfortunately, they don't wear name tags so I can't name names, but we stopped here for apres ski every afternoon - mainly for a good natter with the staff.

The concierge were also very helpful.

If you are looking for the place to stay with a large group or family the Westin Riverfront is for you. This is our seventh year skiing Beaver Creek Mountain. The last 6 were spent at the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch. This year we were a party of six and the Ritz just doesn't have anything big enough. We came to the Westin to check it out last year and made our reservations then.

We rented a two bedroom condo with an adjoining third bedroom. In all we had 3 bedrooms. 3.5 baths and a full kitchen or about 1400sf. The room numbers were 150A (2/2.5) and 150B (extra BR/BA). We stayed on a holiday weekend in January and paid just over $1,400 per night with tax. This room is on the first floor and is a short walk from the lobby. It is extremely convenient.

The hotel is a gondola ride away from the Lower Beaver Creek Mountain Express Lift. There was never a line for the gondola and it is less than 50 feet from the door of the hotel. There is a ski rental outfit here at the hotel and a ski concierge. It is not ski in / ski out but is the next best thing.

The hotel has lots of very interesting lobby space around the bar that looks more like large living rooms than a hotel lobby. There was live music every afternoon. While we were here the guests were a mix of families and adults.

Food and drinks are reasonable for Beaver Creek. Beer was $4 and most wines $7. Two of the kids did manage a $90 room service bill for dinner. Entrees in the restaurant range from $24 to $45. I have uploaded pictures of the bar, restaurant and room service menu.

The condos have washers and dryers. There is free, fast WiFi throughout the hotel. There is a great coffee shop and small cafeteria lunch spot near the gondola exit.

There is a kids club on the first floor that looked big enough for 20 or so children.

The spa is fantastic. The therapists we had were first rate.

The Beaver Creek / Avon shuttle does not pick up at the Westin. The concierge can arrange for shuttle service for a fee if you let them know 20 minutes in advance.

If you haven't been to Beaver Creek before, rest assured, it is some of the best skiing in the country. There are plenty of trails for the beginner and experts alike. Full day lift tickets are about $90 with tax.

Room Tip: If a view isn't important (you see plenty of scenery skiing) ask for a ground floor room. It mak...

The Westin was recommended to us by many sources including the travel agency we used to book this vacation. However, upon arrival our room was not ready and instead of finding a room that was ready, and there were other rooms available, they made us wait a few hours to get into our room, effectively destroying our whole afternoon. Then the next day room cleaning service picked up my husbands sleep wear, which was returned two days later. The second day we had to call to have our room turned over at 4:30pm, it wasn't cleaned until after 5. We were assured that there was ample transportation options to get up the mountain and around town, there isn't, in fact the transportation with an infant is atrocious, having to wait outside in subzero weather conditions to catch a bus up the mountain or any where around town for that matter. The bus drivers that drive just in town are unfriendly. This is not a good place to stay with families at all! This has was our 10th anniversary trip and have been completely Dissappointing in all aspects of this trip in hotel and town.

We stayed here during the mud season, so got a nice deal on our room. The adjoining room next door belonged to KIDS while their parents were out for the night, so it was loud. After calling to the front desk to complain, the noise went quiet within 10 minutes. We heard a hotel staff talking to the kids within minutes of our call. The staff is great overall. Easy check in check out and wanted to please.

True, the address says Beaver Creek, but you are not in Beaver Creek village. Instead, you are in Avon.

We worked out at the gym downstairs - which is a regular membership gym, so it's large for a hotel. It has a spinning room plus another room for stretching or doing your own thing. I think they are putting an addition on it as well - it's beautiful.

The pool is large enough for laps and hot tubs are plentiful (4 or so on the deck). Lots for kids to do.

Check out the restaurant. It's delicious and the service is wonderful. We ate there for lunch and dinner - perfect.

I'm not much of a skiier, so while the rest of my friends were tearing up the mountains last weekend, I was relishing my days at this world-class resort. But that's what makes this place distinctive: Whatever experience you want to have -- romantic getaway, relaxing spa weekend, or full days of skiing-- it's all at your fingertips.

The rooms are sleek and spacious; the beds are heavenly (best sleep I've had in many months!), and the spa... let's just say, do not skip the spa. Not only is it elegant and serene, but the massage was one of the best I'd ever had. The lounge has a huge steam room and sauna, plus a heated outdoor pool and spa (fun in the dead of winter!).

Afternoons watching the snowfall on the mountain, curled up with a book by the fire in the huge, comfy lobby melt into a lively apres ski atmosphere (3-6), complete with live jazz music and a fresh-off-the-mountain, friendly crowd noshing on apps and sipping on cocktails (which is all surprisingly reasonable: you can get a small plate for $5 and a glass of wine for $7 -- and the food is really top-notch.) If you do want to get out and about, Beaver Creek is just a gondola ride away, with easy access to skiing, shopping, ice skating and dining.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, with plenty of suggestions of things to do in and around the area. This is truly a top-notch stay for selective travelers.
