Joaqin and Maria are the perfect hosts. No other place offers such outstanding views right over the Mar Menor to La Manga.....Food to die for and very well priced too.....I'm saying all this...and I live here so in a way take it for granted. Definately not to be missed!!! Thank you Both for your wonderful hospitality!!!!

“Mr”

Joaqin and Maria have worked hard to create an authentic eating experience, topped off by serving excellent wines. His steaks are hard to fault, and his attention to detail when cooking ensures that all the other dishes are just as delightful. I can't wait to taste my favourite Jumilla red wine on my next visit, accompanied by the best Ox steak in the area.

“Excellent Local Cuisine and Hospitality!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2012

My wife and I have been quite a few times to this restaurant and have not had a bad experience yet. Set in an idyllic location, the staff are always very hospital and make you feel welcome.
The food is local cuisine and cooked fresh for you, unless you order the lamb stew (which is prepared the day before and I can heartily recommend!).
This restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

“Love this place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 12, 2012

This is a great little restaurant up on a hill at the back of La Peraleja. It is set in an equestrian centre, so you can watch the horses, ride yourself or sit back and just enjoy the stunning views. The food is beautifully prepared by Joaquin from fresh, local ingredients and served by the lovely Maria. The house wine is excellent and very keenly priced and prawns in garlic sauce are to die for. Their paellas are great, the chops delicious and why not try the ox steak... you'll not regret it! There's nothing to avoid on the menu, it's all delicious, but in addition to the prawns, I'd particularly recommend the homemade croquettes and the baked goat's cheese with Joaquin's tomato marmalade! In the summer you can sit in sun or shade on a large open terrace or on a chilly autumn evening you can sit in the cosy, welcoming finca. My wife and I have enjoyed romantic suppers and we've had lunches and dinners with family and friends at all times of year from March 2012 when Joaquin and Maria took it on till yesterday, in November and hope to have many more visits in the months to come. Overall, highly recommended!
