This restaurant would be really good even if it was quite a bit more expensive, but it is the only restaurant in years where, on receiving the bill, I asked the waiter if they hadn't forgotten to put a few items on it: it was so cheap. The restaurant is in the picturesque hamlet of Ohain, barely 10 kms outside Brussels, but Brussels feels far far away in this quiet spot. The restaurant is in some restored old building, complete with fireplace. We visited the Auberge on a Tuesday and the menu, including decent wines, was a mere 39 euros for a 4 course meal. Each course was creative and well presented. Admittedly the portions were on the small side, but there was no need to make up for tiny portions with bread rolls. Service was friendly and prompt. This place is a true bargain (at least on Tuesdays...).
