My husband and I had a very good meal at Trattoria del Pescatore. I started with a fabulous Caprese salad with great fresh mozzarella and wonderful tomatoes, served on a bed of rocket lettuce. It had no dressing on it (not even olive oil) but it was so flavorful, I just let the true flavors come through. My husband began with a local soup that was chock full of beans and pasta and he enjoyed it. For our main course, I had ravioli stuffed with ricotta and spinach and served with a tomato sauce. We have seen this on most local menus and it was quite tasty. The ravioli were large and had a good amount of stuffing. My husband ordered grilled lamb chops and he had quite a plateful. He gave me a few bites and they were well seasoned and tasty. We shared a half liter of red wine, which was also quite good. It was a filling meal of the region and one that we thoroughly enjoyed.
