“What a wonderful Museum!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2013

We moved to the area about a year ago and finally had the opportunity to visit the museum today and we had a wonderful time. The Museum has many interesting exhibits to enjoy, it's great for young children (we brought our two-year old daughter who thoroughly enjoyed herself) and the museum itself is in excellent condition. We spent several hours in the museum and will definitely visit again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
There is also a delightful gift shop that has lot's of Nova Scotia style gifts and little bags of coal for $1.00 to give to all those naughty people on your Christmas list ;)

“Thoroughly Enjoyed”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2013

Fantastic visit for the whole family. The displays are not only informative but interactive. There are items around every nook and cranny to explore, but it never feels like there is too much. The guiding staff were very attentive making sure that every person was spoken to, and encouraged to ask additional questions. Demonstrations were given in both English and French. A great way to spend an afternoon!
