“Very comfortable”

We stayed with Katy last summer for a few days and again this summer for one. We love the house and the rooms. Breakfast is first-rate and Katy is a wonderful hostess. She goes out of her way to accommodate needs wherever she can. She gave us great advice on places to visit in the region. The rooms was quiet and comfortable and the bathroom very nice.
One important note - the rooms are two or three flights of stairs up from the main floor, which wasn't a problem for us, but if you're not able to do stairs a couple of times a day, this may not work for you.

Very nice and cozy place to stay. We were welcomed by the owner and her very lovely daughter who offered us a glass of orange juice the first minute we arrived. The rooms are big and clean and not expensive at all. The owner makes you feel welcome and she has good suggestions for trips near Boulogne. The only thing that you have to realize is that there are no busses on a regular base, so if you want to go to Boulogne you need a car or pay (a lot!) for a taxi. During daytime a taxi to Boulogne is 17 euro, during nighttime 23. But besides that I highly recommend Le Plein Air!

Stayed at Le Plein Air for one night on a recent 2 day break to France. Room was most adequate with satisfactory Continental breakfast. Appreciated all the assistance given with visiting the best sights in the area. Very friendly, happy, comfy B&B that I can highly recommend.

We book one night on our way past and stayed in the family room which is two connecting rooms with a bathroom. We thought the house looked fantastatic and the rooms were very pleasant. There were two beds in the kids bedroom which was handy. The rooms were spacious too and so was the bathroom. The house is very tall and the family room is on the top floor so there were quite a few steps to climb which you should know if you have a lot of luggage or have mobility difficulties. There is a floor with common areas such as a dinning/seating room and a kitchen. The owner - we met with the lady- was very kind and welcoming. Breakfast is continental, reasonable choice of cereals, orange juice, baguette, croissant, fruits, ham and cheese and homemade jam. As we were only passing by Im not sure how its location rates for holidays.
On the downside now, the stairwell looked a bit dated and they have a dog. Although we never saw it and I honestly think they keep it out of the B&B areas, which are very clean, both my husband and I are sensitive to dog hair (asthma) and could feel it in the air in the common areas but I must stress not in the bedrooms.

Room Tip: We stayed in the family which we thought was very good value and space for money
