The hotel is next to the river narmada and you can see the temple from your room. The rooms have a very big verandah. I took two deluxe rooms and they were very clean. The bathroom was ok and clean but the ac was not at all good and the rooms didnt become cold. It takes a long time for the rooms to be cold and sometimes it isnt even cold. There are frequent power cuts so it will make the room even more hot.
The food is very good and room service also great. Only veg food is available here.
The staff is very courteous and helps whenever needed.
Remember too book rooms for the mp tourism website in advance. Rooms are very less and isnt available as no other proper hotels are there in the area.

Room Tip: Some rooms have too much noise check the ac before taking the rooms

Very nice property next to the river Narmada. The rooms are good. But the deluxe rooms are better maintained. and more clean. The food is decent and as much expected as per the price it is at. Some Air Conditioners make noice in some of the rooms.

Room Tip: Choose the deluxe rooms as they are more clean and new.

1. This is a best Hotel in Town run by MP Tourism Deptt.
2. It has Deluxe, AC and Aircooled rooms. Almost all rooms have Balconies/ Windows which open to a great view of River Narmada and Temple of Omkareshwar.
3. Deluxe rooms are particularly good.
4. Food quality is excellent and limited to veg only. Restaurant is small but having good ambiance and view.
5. Tariff is very affordable.
6. All hotels rooms can be booked online from MP Tourism Website

Room Tip: Go for deluxe rooms preferably with adv booking.. Only 2 are there.

To make it clear: no one awaited a luxury hotel in Omkareshwar. But it's a pity that MPtourism shows only a very stripped down engagement on this hotel which is perfectly seated above the Narmada. With a bit more enthusiasm, a little more cleanness and a restaurant that is prepared not only for Indian families to stay for one night this could be a great place to go. Regarding the holy place the only beverages you can get are water, Pepsi and Mirinda. And if you order from the extremely reduced vegetarian menu you will find that a lot is "not available". We ordered continental breakfast and that means toast, one kind of marmalade and bananas. Please MPtourism, a little less talking (newsletters), a bit more doing!
