“Really Beautiful & Fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2013

Took my 12 year old son and I here for the day. It was crowded but amazing. My son snorkeled around for hours and we both marveled at the natural beauty. It was a highlight in Tulum and one of my favorite days in Mexico. The pics say it all. The second side or opening is quieter, perfect to bring a lunch and a book to rest easy and let your kiddos play or take a nap.

“Nice Spot for a Couple of Hours”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2013

Nice swimming, nice turtles and enough space to absorb the crowds. My two-year old son enjoyed playing with the dog in the cafe although he refused to get in the water, which was a little colder than expected!

“first cenote snorkeling”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2013

120 peso entry fee (or 150 peso? don't remember), 70 peso (?) snorkeling rental. Water was very clear, saw quite some fish. A deep area where you can dive, snorkel, and swim, and another shallow area for beginners. Water was still cool when I visited in March.

“Great value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2013

Our second time to this cenote, and was a lot more crowded this year. Still enjoyed the snorkelling though. Crystal clear water, cute little fish and turtles, and swallows and bats flitting about on the ceiling. Get there early to avoid the crowds. Only cost about $10.

“Gran ? hardly”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2013

Having read good reviews about this location decided to give it a try. Wish we hadn't bothered, it might be fine for " the man from atlantis " brigade, but we were very disappointed by the lack of amenities, considering the cost.
The 'restaurant' turned out to be shop where you could buy a few basic provisions and eat them standing up!
The wild birds turned out to comprise four very sorry looking peacocks in a cage the size of a wendy house.
The staff appeared to spend their time counting their money and looking smug. Perhaps they couldn't believe their luck.
Save your hard-earned and give this sad site a miss.
