“Best cakes and pastries! Saved our wedding dinner...”
Reviewed June 19, 2014

We were so so lucky and grateful to find La Fournee, you guys saved our wedding! (Dessert is very very important to us :) )

We had a cake tasting from supposedly the best wedding bakery on the Riviera Maya for our wedding in Tulum, and it was terrible... So we went to La Fournee two days before the wedding and spoke with the owner, who described an incredible chocolate and coconut cake he'd be able to make for us (with imported Belgian chocolate, which is a key ingredient the owner can't get in Mexico...). He delivered it Saturday morning of the wedding. It was the most delicious thing, everyone complimented it. Thank you so so so so much La Fournee!!!!! We can't wait to come back and see you next time we're in Tulum.

“Great Croissants”
Reviewed March 7, 2014

We were staying down the street from this place. WOW, they have some great croissants. We went 2 days in a row and would have gone more had we found them earlier in our trip to the area.

“Delicious pain au chocolat & cappuccino”
Reviewed February 24, 2014

Two Frenchmen opened La Fournee a few months ago on the main road where all of the beach resorts are. My French husband & I loved it! We went every morning for croissants, pain au chocolat and cappuccino after our continental breakfast at our hotel further down the road. I never tried the bread, but it looked tasty. My husband enjoyed speaking French with the owners. The staff is very friendly. There are a few tables and chairs inside. There are some cute shops across the street and next door to La Fournee too. I did some shopping while my husband chatted with the owners. Definitely worth a visit or two or more during your stay in Tulum.
