A great dive... A little bit of a trek with heavy gear from the parking place but worth every step for the location, the drop into the oblivion, and the fantastic caves that lie beneath. One dive is not enough, you need to return again and again.

Our first cenote. Small and somewhat jeopardised initially by a big party of divebombing americans, but afterwards plenty of opportunity to swim, swing and watch the divers go in and the bats come out.

They have upgraded this place quite a bit in 2012. It's one of few natural cenotes that you access it by jumping in. The height is approximately 12 feet or so before you hit the water. Nice little place. The cavern diving is limited. Not a lot to see for snorkelling. Excellent cave diving here.

I was expecting something different, like an opportunity to learn something or be thrilled. What my party got instead was a tourist experience that children under 12 would enjoy. I think you should go there with kids - for sure, but adults might be more impressed with other activities.

You must scuba dive here. If you you're here to snorkel, you're missing the whole experience. The halokline can only be seen by scuba and this why you should going here.
