I stayed here in march for eight nights.

If you want to relax, feel the nature, hear the sea, enjoy the beach and forget about the world, this is the place for you.

It is situated at the end of the strip of Tulum hotels so it gives a sense of exclusivity.

the bungalow is peaceful, clean, spacious and beautiful, two beds with mosquito netting, hot water and a porch with hammock.
There really is nothing better than to wake up with the sound of the ocean waves
Dos Ceibas is really Ecological Posada uses minimal electricity, generated from solar.

The ristorate is amazing just in front of the beach end the food is great.
The beach bar is there for your drinks and they had massage tables out with people enjoying massages.

the beach is amazing , absolutely perfect, the white sand beaches are pristine, seaweed is raked up and buried in the sand every morning.

A gem on the Tulum coast.
I'll definitely be back!

Walk the quite and short path across Dos Ceibas to the reception and glimpses of what awaits are smoothly displayed. A small sized, secluded, silent, immersed in nature and in balance with nature posada gently welcomes visitors. Located at the seemingly end of the Tulum`s carretera, Dos Ceibas is certainly one of the quietest corners of the area. Yet, a bike ride -ask for one of the old fashioned red bikes at the reception- connects the place to restaurants, little shops and further on to the archaeological remains of Tulum ( a scenic 10 km ride).
Bungalows have been laid out for privacy; one comes across neighbors at times at breakfast sitting outside the reception area, Dos Ceibas` little plaza and gathering place. The bungalows are full of colors and details. Peeked outside mine -Ocelote or, 5- and was reassured by the presence of energy panels. Inside, generous mosquito nets, a great fan, striped beach towels, a shelf of books and a choice between candles or low energy bulbs together with biodegradable bathroom amenities make the bungalows little eco-sustainable homes.
The general atmosphere is that of a family, old friends and of a genuine balance with nature and with the real side of Maya culture. Dos Ceibas is a place one aspires to return.
Thank you, Elvira and everybody else at Dos Ceibas for sharing your dream with others!

Thank you to Posada Dos Ceibas for a superb stay in Tulum. The bungalos, the yoga room, the dining area, the colorful, artistic and detailed decore, the excellent staff, the delicious food, all with a relaxed yet elegant style were a real pleasure. The beach is the best! I loved it and i look forward to going back. I appreciate the ecological approach and family atmosphere. The quiet and peace were wonderful- i slept so well there with just the sound of the waves at night and the birds in the morning. Congratulations on creating a beautiful paradise for us to enjoy this special part of the planet.

Amazing bungalows, ecological attitude and the best beach at Tulum.
I just spent 2 nights at 2 ceibas and the posada is amazing, clean and beautiful bungalows with a colorful mexican touch.

The staff is really kind always smiling no matter your requests. Great place to relax and chat with nice people, and the best part, just in front of the beach...

It's true.. the music is BAD. We thought that maybe it was an isolated incident after reading the other reviews, but not so. It started at about midnight, and went, seriously, until 6am. Earplugs didn't help. I met other guests wandering around the grounds as well at 4am as none of us could sleep. We left after the dogs started barking just as the music stopped. I would advise booking just for one night and seeing how it goes for you. (Room #7 is small and the bed is not comfortable, avoid it if you can). Maybe the weekends are worse... we were there on a Friday. On the positive side, the guacamole and margaritas were good and the beach is beautiful. Check out Zebras down the road for a nice dinner.
